Muscicapa muttui (Layard, EL, 1854)

Brown-breasted Flycatcher, Muscicapa muttui, breeds in north-eastern India and north-west Thailand, and spends the non-breeding season in south-west India and Sri Lanka. It is a passerine in the Muscicapidae family, first described by Layard in 1854. A small flycatcher, it is best known for its pale legs and lower mandible, which help separate it from the Asian brown flycatcher. It also has a pale eye ring, pale lores, white chin and throat, and pale brown underparts, with olive-brown upperparts and rufous on the tail and wing edges.
