Brown-capped Fantail, Rhipidura diluta, is a bird of the Lesser Sunda Islands, including Sumbawa and Flores, in the Australasian region. It belongs to the fantail family, Rhipiduridae, and was described by Wallace in 1864. Its breeding range is in western and central parts of the Lesser Sundas. It occurs in moist lowland forest and moist montane forest in subtropical or tropical areas.
