Gerygone palpebrosa

The Brown Gerygone, also known as the Brown Warbler, is a small songbird found in Australia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. It has a brownish-grey plumage with a distinctive pale eye-ring. This species is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard in the forest canopy. Brown Gerygones are insectivorous and forage actively in the foliage of trees and shrubs. They build cup-shaped nests using spider web and plant material, often suspended from the branches. These birds are commonly found in a variety of forested habitats, including rainforests, woodlands, and mangroves.
