The Brown Prinia is a small, insectivorous bird found in South and Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its brown upperparts, creamy underparts, and a distinct white supercilium. This species is often found in open grasslands, marshes, and scrub areas where it forages for insects and small invertebrates. The Brown Prinia is known for its melodious and repetitive song, often heard during the breeding season. It constructs a cup-shaped nest hidden in dense vegetation. While the global population trend is unknown, the Brown Prinia is currently not considered at risk of extinction.
