The Brown Snake Eagle (Circaetus cinereus) is a large bird of prey found in sub-Saharan Africa and parts of the Arabian Peninsula. It has a wingspan of around 160-180 cm and is known for its distinctive brown plumage, broad wings, and short tail. This species is a specialist snake-eater, hunting from perches or soaring over open habitats. It is often observed in savannas, grasslands, and open woodlands. The Brown Snake Eagle is listed as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List, as it has a wide distribution and is not facing significant threats at present.
