The Budongo Forest Warbler (Phylloscopus budongoensis) is a small, insectivorous bird species endemic to the Budongo Forest in Uganda. It is characterized by its olive-green plumage, pale underparts, and a distinct white eye-ring. This species is known for its distinctive, high-pitched song that resonates through the dense undergrowth of its forest habitat. The Budongo Forest Warbler forages for insects and spiders in the lower and middle strata of the forest, often in mixed-species flocks. Its breeding biology and specific ecological requirements are still being studied due to its recent discovery and limited range.
