Buff-bellied Hermit, Phaethornis subochraceus, is a hummingbird of the eastern foothills of the Andes in Bolivia and extends into south-west Brazil. It breeds in South America from central Bolivia to south-west Brazil. Its most notable feature is the pair of innermost tail feathers, which are longer than the rest and end in white. The bird also has metallic green upperparts and buff to ochre underparts. It was described by Todd in 1915 and belongs to the family Trochilidae.
