Buff-breasted Tody-Tyrant, Hemitriccus mirandae, is a passerine of the tyrant flycatcher family found in north-eastern and eastern Brazil. It is confined to semi-humid forest in the highlands, where it lives on the slopes of isolated ridges. The species is resident throughout the year. It is a monotypic bird with a complicated taxonomic past, having first been described in 1925 under another genus before being placed in Hemitriccus. Adults show the same plumage in both sexes, with a dark olive crown and back, a pale buff face and underparts, and dusky olive wings and tail.
