Buff-browed Foliage-gleaner, Syndactyla rufosuperciliata, is a bird of South America, from southern Ecuador to north-western Argentina and south-eastern parts of the continent. It belongs to the Furnariidae, the ovenbird family. It has a disjunct range, with one population in the Andes and another in the south-east. The Andean birds live in montane evergreen forest and mature secondary forest, often where Chusquea bamboo is present, while the south-eastern birds use lowland tropical evergreen forest, gallery forest and secondary forest. The species is a year-round resident across its range.
