Pachysylvia muscicapina (Sclater, PL & Salvin, 1873)

Buff-cheeked Greenlet, Pachysylvia muscicapina, is a bird of Amazonia in South America, occurring in humid forest from eastern Venezuela and the Guianas into northern Brazil, with a separate southern range in Brazil and extreme northeastern Bolivia. It belongs to the Vireonidae. The species is placed in the mid-storey and canopy of terra firme and várzea forest. It is a sedentary resident. Its plumage is shared by both sexes, and the two subspecies differ in the tone of the forehead, face, upperparts, throat and breast.
