The Bukidnon woodcock is known for its unique courtship display, which involves aerial acrobatics and vocalizations. Despite its fascinating behavior, this species is poorly studied and faces threats from habitat loss and degradation. As a result, its conservation status is currently listed as Data Deficient by the IUCN.
