Buller's albatross (Thalassarche bulleri) is a large seabird of the albatross family, with a wingspan of up to 2.5 meters. It has a white head, neck, and underparts, with a dark upperwing and back. The bill is yellow with a dark tip. This species is known for its graceful and effortless gliding flight over the open ocean. Buller's albatross is primarily found in the southern Pacific Ocean, where it breeds on remote islands and forages over the open seas. It is a long-lived species, reaching sexual maturity at around 10 years of age and having a lifespan of over 40 years. Threats to the Buller's albatross include fisheries bycatch and habitat degradation.
