Burmese Collared Dove

Burmese Collared Dove, Streptopelia xanthocycla, is a dove of the Columbidae family found in central Myanmar, where it is shown in the Irrawaddy River basin. It was once treated as part of the Eurasian collared dove, but is now recognised separately. Its key feature is a bright yellow eye ring, and its plumage is slightly darker than that of the Eurasian collared dove. It has also been reported from neighbouring China, although that record is not confirmed.
