Buru White-eye, Zosterops buruensis, is a passerine in the white-eye family that breeds on Buru in the western Moluccas. It was described by Salvadori in 1878. The bird is named for Buru, the island where it occurs, and it is part of the endemic island fauna of Indonesia. Its range is tied to subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. The species occupies an area of more than 20,000 km2, and its population is thought to exceed 10,000.
