Buru white-eye

Zosterops buruensis

The Buru white-eye (Zosterops buruensis) is a small passerine bird found on the Indonesian island of Buru. It is characterized by its distinctive white eye-ring and olive-green plumage. These social birds are often found in small groups, foraging for insects and nectar in the forest canopy. They also play a key role in seed dispersal within their habitat.
