Cape Verde Storm Petrel, Hydrobates jabejabe, is a seabird of the Atlantic Ocean around the Cape Verde Islands, with breeding sites on Branco, Raso, off Boavista and Rombo in the north-east, east-central and south-west of the archipelago, and it is present there throughout the year. It belongs to the family Hydrobatidae and the order Procellariiformes. It is darker in plumage than Leach's storm petrel, and its white rump is less obvious. It was described by Barboza du Bocage in 1875.
