Caribbean Hornero, Furnarius longirostris, is a passerine of the ovenbird family found in northern Colombia and north-western Venezuela. It was described by Pelzeln in 1856. This bird lives in lowland semi-open and open country, including riverside woodland, secondary forest edges, farmland, and urban parks and gardens, especially where water is close by. It is a year-round resident. Its long, slightly curved bill helps set it apart, and adults show a white eyebrow, orange-rufous upperparts, a chestnut tail, and rich cinnamon-buff underparts.
