Cassin's Malimbe, Malimbus cassini, is a bird of the family Ploceidae found in Africa from Cameroon to western and eastern DR Congo. Its recorded breeding range covers Cameroon and the Congo Basin, and it is also listed from the Central African Republic, the Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Ghana. The species was described by Elliot, DG, in 1859.
