Chabert Vanga, Leptopterus chabert, is a passerine found in Madagascar, where it breeds. It belongs to the Vangidae family and is the only species in its genus. It is the smallest member of the vanga family, with a length of 14 centimetres and a weight of 17 to 26.5 grams. Its range includes dry forest, moist lowland forest and moist montane forest, from sea level to 1000 m, with occasional records above that. It is also known for a call that gives the bird its name.
