Chami Antpitta, Grallaria alvarezi, is a bird of the antpitta family found in western Colombia, from north-west Antioquia to north-west Cauca. It is confined to the western Andes and is known from forest floor and understorey in mossy, epiphyte-rich woodland with Chusquea bamboo. Most records come from 2,350 to 3,650 m. It was identified as a separate species in 2020 after having been treated as part of the Rufous Antpitta complex. The sexes look alike, and adults are mostly rich reddish brown.
