Chestnut-bellied Hummingbird, Saucerottia castaneiventris, is a hummingbird of north-central Colombia, where it breeds in the Magdalena Valley. It is confined to the drier parts of that region, with its main known localities in the Chicamocha, Suárez and Chucurí river valleys. Most records come from arid, brushy canyons, though it is also found at the lower margins of humid montane forest. It has a black bill with a red base to the lower mandible. The adult male shows bronze-green upperparts, a chestnut tail, a glittering green throat and upper breast, and a chestnut belly.
