Chestnut-capped Thrush, Geokichla interpres, is a thrush of forests and woodlands in the Oriental Region, breeding from southern Thailand to the Sulu Archipelago in the southern Philippines, and across Borneo, Java, Lombok, Sumbawa and Flores in the western to central Lesser Sundas. It belongs to the family Turdidae and was described by Temminck in 1828. It has a chestnut cap, a black back, a white belly marked with black spots, and a black face with white on the cheeks and lores.
