Chestnut-crested Antbird, Rhegmatorhina cristata, is a passerine of the antbird family that breeds in north-west Amazonia in South America, including Brazil and Colombia. It was first named by Pelzeln in 1868. The species lives in the understorey of humid evergreen terra firme forest, with a preference for sandy ground, and its range lies below 350 m. It is a year-round resident. Adults show a pale bare eye-ring, and males have a chestnut crown, crest and nape.
