Chestnut-hooded Laughingthrush, Pterorhinus treacheri, is a bird of montane Borneo in the laughingthrush family Leiothrichidae. It lives in the north-central and south-eastern mountains of the island, where it uses hill forest, montane forest, forest margins, disturbed growth and cultivated mountain areas. Its head and chin are chestnut brown, with grey on the crown, and the upperparts and side of the neck are slaty grey. A long white wing patch, a yellow half eye-ring and a blackish tail tip help to identify it.
