Chestnut-naped Forktail

Enicurus ruficapillus Temminck, 1832

Chestnut-naped Forktail, Enicurus ruficapillus, is a bird of the Oriental Region, breeding in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo. It belongs to the Muscicapidae family and was described by Temminck in 1832. It is tied to clear rivers and streams in lowland and hill rainforest, and also occurs in secondary scrub, on dry ridges and beside logging roads. The species is not migratory. It is a monotypic bird with no subspecies. Its range reaches from sea level to 1,300 m, though in southern Thailand it is found only to 900 m.
