Chestnut-winged Cinclodes

The Chestnut-winged Cinclodes is a small, terrestrial bird found in the southern Andes of South America. It has a distinctive plumage with a chestnut-colored wing, a grayish-brown back, and a white belly. This species is well-adapted to its rocky, mountainous habitat and is often seen foraging for insects and invertebrates among the boulders and streams. The Chestnut-winged Cinclodes is known for its energetic and agile behavior, as it hops and runs along the ground in search of food. Despite its localized distribution, this species is not currently considered to be at risk and is classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
