Chilean Skua, Stercorarius chilensis, is a South American seabird in the skua family, breeding along coastal southern Chile and Argentina to Cape Horn, and moving north to the coasts of southern Peru and central Brazil outside the breeding season. Bonaparte described it in 1857. It is a distinctive skua, with a dark cap set against a cinnamon throat and lower face. It also occurs in southern Argentina as hybrids with the Falkland skua. It nests in colonies during the Southern Hemisphere summer.
