Chiming Wedgebill, Psophodes occidentalis, is a bird of the Psophodidae family found in western, central and south-central Australia, from western Western Australia to south-eastern Northern Territory and central South Australia. It is endemic to Australia. Once treated as part of the chirruping wedgebill, it was later split off because its call is notably different. The species is also known as the chiming whipbird.
