The Chinese Francolin (Synoicus chinensis) is a species of bird in the Phasianidae family, native to eastern Asia. It is a ground-dwelling bird with a distinctive call and a mottled brown plumage that provides excellent camouflage in its forest habitat. This species is known for its secretive behavior and is often difficult to spot despite its relatively large size.
