Chinese Grassbird, Graminicola striatus, is a passerine in the family Pellorneidae and breeds in the Oriental Region, including south-eastern China, south-eastern Myanmar, south-central Thailand, north-eastern Vietnam and Hainan Island off south-eastern China. It was described by Styan in 1892. It lives in tall emergent growth beside freshwater swamps and along river margins in lowland areas. The species was once placed in the Old World warblers and later in the babblers.
