Zosterops natalis Lister, 1889
Christmas White-eye, Zosterops natalis, is a bird of the Indian Ocean, breeding on Christmas Island south of western Java. It is a member of the white-eye family and was described by Lister in 1889. Endemic to Christmas Island, it is found in forests across the island, and also in gardens, around disused mines and on weedy farmland. It has a distinctive white ring around the eye, with a yellowish line above it. Its upperparts are greyish-olive and its underparts are whitish.
