Cinereous Bulbul

Hemixos cinereus

The Cinereous Bulbul (Hemixos cinereus) is a medium-sized songbird found in the forests and woodlands of Southeast Asia. It has a distinctive greyish plumage with a slightly paler underside. The bird is known for its melodious and varied song, often heard during the early morning and late afternoon. Cinereous Bulbuls are typically found in dense vegetation where they forage for insects, fruits, and small seeds. They are known for their agile and acrobatic flight patterns as they move through the forest canopy. While not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and fragmentation pose potential risks to their populations.
