The Cinereous Mourner is a small, insectivorous bird found in the forests of South America. It is known for its distinctive grey plumage and melodious vocalizations. This species is often observed foraging for insects in the mid to upper levels of the forest canopy. The Cinereous Mourner is a solitary bird and is known for its shy and elusive behavior. It builds cup-shaped nests in the dense vegetation and lays 1-2 eggs per clutch. The species is not currently considered to be at risk of extinction.
