Cinnamon Becard

Pachyramphus cinnamomeus

The Cinnamon Becard (Pachyramphus cinnamomeus) is a small passerine bird found in the forests and woodlands of Central and South America. It is known for its distinctive cinnamon-colored plumage, with a dark mask around the eyes and a lighter throat. This species is often observed perching in the mid-story of trees, where it forages for insects and small fruits. Cinnamon Becards are known for their melodious and varied songs, which they use to communicate and defend their territories. While not currently considered threatened, habitat loss and fragmentation pose potential risks to their populations.
