Cinnamon-bellied Ground Tyrant, Muscisaxicola capistratus, is a passerine of the Tyrannidae family that breeds in southern Argentina, Chile and Peru. It is a bird of moist open ground, using short grass on slopes, rocky canyons with grass, pastures, and, outside the breeding season, cushion plant bogs and lakeshores. It is a complete migrant. Adults show the same plumage in both sexes, with a black forecrown, a bright rufous-chestnut crown, and a cinnamon-rufous belly. The nest is an open grass cup lined with feathers and usually set among rocks.
