The Cinnamon-breasted Tody-Tyrant is a small, insectivorous bird found in the tropical forests of South America. This species is known for its distinctive call, a high-pitched trill that is often heard in the dense undergrowth where it forages for insects. Cinnamon-breasted Tody-Tyrants are typically found in lowland forests, especially near streams and wet areas. They are often observed perching on low branches and darting out to catch flying insects. Despite their small size, these birds are energetic and agile hunters. The conservation status of the Cinnamon-breasted Tody-Tyrant is currently classified as Least Concern by the IUCN.
