Cipo Canastero, Asthenes luizae, is a bird of south-eastern Brazil in the ovenbird family Furnariidae. It was described by Vielliard in 1990 and is endemic to Brazil. Its known breeding range is in south-east Brazil. The species is found in a few places in the Espinhaço Mountains of Minas Gerais, where it lives among rocky outcrops and bushy growth in campos rupestres grassland. It is a resident throughout the year. The bird has a short bill and a medium-length tail, and the sexes look alike.
