Clarion Wren, Troglodytes tanneri, is a bird of Isla Clarión in Middle America and belongs to the wren family. It is confined to Clarión Island off Pacific Mexico. The bird resembles a House Wren, but it is bigger and has a noticeably longer bill, with a shape that also brings to mind a Carolina Wren. It uses the less dry parts of shrubland, especially thickets of Ipomoea halierca, and has also been recorded around the buildings and garden at Sulfur Bay. It generally stays away from rocky coasts and other open places.
