Cocos Cuckoo, Coccyzus ferrugineus, is a cuckoo of the family Cuculidae that breeds on I. del Coco in far south-west Costa Rica. It is confined to that island, where it uses most of the available plant communities from sea level up to the highest ground. The bird is present all year and is especially tied to forest edges in the breeding period, while at other times it is more often in the forest interior. Gould described it in 1843.
