Collared Crow

Collared Crow, Corvus torquatus, is a corvid of eastern and central China and northern Vietnam, breeding in the Palearctic and Oriental regions. It is a mainly rural bird of plains, low river valleys, open country and cultivated land, and it is often seen in paddy fields. The species is about 52–55 cm long and is the same size as, or a little larger than, the carrion crow, with slightly longer wings, tail and bill. Its plumage is glossy black with white on the back of the neck, the mantle and a broad band across the lower breast.
