Collared Finchbill, Spizixos semitorques, is a bulbul in the family Pycnonotidae, found in southern and central China, northern Vietnam and Taiwan. It was described by Swinhoe in 1861. It is associated with forested hills at moderate elevations. Its diet includes fruit, as well as seeds and insects. Two subspecies are recognised: S. s. semitorques in central and southern China and northern Vietnam, and S. s. cinereicapillus in Taiwan and the Miyako and Yaeyama Islands of Japan. It is also known by several alternative names, including black-headed finch-bill and Chinese finch-bill.
