Colombian Mountain Grackle, Macroagelaius subalaris, is a bird of the Icteridae family found in Colombia, where it is confined to the western slope of the northern Eastern Andes. It lives in humid montane forest rich in epiphytes, with a marked preference for oak forest dominated by Quercus humboldtii. The species was first described in 1840 and is the only member of its genus. It is a slender bird with a long tail, and adults are almost wholly black with a blue sheen.
