Congo Martin, Riparia congica, is a passerine in the swallow family that breeds in Africa along the Congo River. It is confined to this river system and the Ubangi, where it lives on wooded river stretches with sandbanks available for nesting. The species is non-migratory and is fairly common within its limited range. During February and March it breeds in colonies, with pairs digging nesting tunnels in sandbanks about 1 m above the water. The nest is placed at the end of the tunnel.
