Copper-rumped Hummingbird, Saucerottia tobaci, is a hummingbird of Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago, with breeding recorded in those South American countries. It is a member of the family Trochilidae and was described by Gmelin in 1788. The species is known from a range of forested habitats, and also from savanna, plantations and gardens in parts of its range. It is recognised in several subspecies, including forms from Trinidad, Tobago and different regions of Venezuela.
