Coppery-chested Jacamar, Galbula pastazae, is a bird of the family Galbulidae and breeds in south Colombia to east Ecuador. It was described by Taczanowski & Berlepsch in 1885. It is found on the eastern side of the Andes in humid montane forest, where it uses the understorey and occurs along forest edges, watercourses, tree falls and landslides that open the canopy. The species is monotypic. It is considered part of a superspecies with the rufous-tailed, white-chinned, bluish-fronted and green-tailed jacamars.
