Coroneted Fruit Dove, Ptilinopus coronulatus, is a pigeon in the family Columbidae that breeds in New Guinea and its satellites. It is found in subtropical or tropical dry forest and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, especially in hilly country. Its most notable feature is the crest on the head that gives it a coronet-like appearance. The bird is also known as the lilac-capped fruit dove. It was described by Gray, GR, in 1858.
