Anthus correndera

The Correndera Pipit (Anthus correndera) is a small passerine bird found in South America. It is known for its streaked brown and buff plumage, with a pale underbelly and a distinctive white eye stripe. These agile birds are often found in open grasslands, agricultural fields, and marshy areas, where they forage for insects and seeds on the ground. Their melodious song can often be heard as they perch on fence posts or low shrubs. The Correndera Pipit is not currently considered to be at risk, with stable populations across its range.
