Creamy-rumped Miner Geositta isabellina is a bird of the high Andes in south-central Chile and western Argentina, where it lives on barren slopes with rocky outcrops and puna grassland. It is a member of the ovenbird family. The species is found in the Chilean Andes from the Atacama Region to Talca Province, with nearby records in Catamarca, San Juan and Mendoza. It is a monotypic species. Adults have a creamy white rump and uppertail coverts, with pale sandy buff upperparts and light cream underparts.
