Crested Gallito, Rhinocrypta lanceolata, is a tapaculo of the family Rhinocryptidae that occurs in South America, including Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay. It is the only species in the genus Rhinocrypta. In the nominate form, the head is cinnamon with white streaking, while the upperparts, wings and tail are olive grey. The throat and breast are pale grey, the sides of the breast are chestnut, and the lower belly is olive grey. Another subspecies is recognised, and it is darker overall.
