Tadorna cristata (Kuroda, Nm, 1917)
Crested Shelduck Tadorna cristata is a duck in the Anatidae family and the order Anseriformes. It is known from very few observations, and its breeding range is in north-east Asia, with breeding said to occur in Korea and eastern Russia. Reports have continued from time to time, including several from inland wetlands in China between 1985 and 1991, but it has not been confirmed since 1964. Both sexes show a green tuft on the head, and the male and female differ in the plumage described for the head, body and wings.
