Crinkle-collared Manucode, Manucodia chalybatus, is a bird-of-paradise that breeds in New Guinea. It occurs in lowland and hill forest across mainland New Guinea and on Misool Island in West Papua. Both sexes look alike, though the female is a little smaller and less purple. The species is set apart from the Jobi manucode by its bronzed yellow-green neck feathers. It has a long graduated tail, a red iris and iridescent green breast feathers.
